Case Managers Needed

"No one dies in pain and no one dies alone." This has long been the unofficial motto of Compassion & Choices of Washington (C&C), but it is our case managers who make this credo real. Since our founding, the lifeblood of C&C has been our case management team. Our volunteer case managers work one-on-one with our terminally ill clients and offer strength and comfort in the most challenging of times.

By speaking openly and candidly about death without judgment and without discomfort, they empower their clients to maintain choice and control at the end of life. No particular set of skills or experiences is required in order to be a case manager; our team includes physicians, hospice workers, a psychiatrist, and several case managers with no medical training. C&C provides training and ongoing support to case managers. If you are interested in finding out more about this rewarding volunteer opportunity, please contact us by emailing info@CandCofWA.org or by calling 206.256.1636 or toll free 877.222.2816.
